RSC Falls to Gordon

DAVENPORT, Fla. –  Russell Sage College fell 9-2 to Gordon this morning at the Northeast Regional Park.

Ahead 3-1 after four innings of play, the Fighting Scots put across three runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth to seize control.

Sophomore infielder Christian Brown (Troy, NY/Troy) and sophomore outfielder Brendan Espinal (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) each doubled home teammates to account for the RSC markers.

Junior infielder Dalton Cody went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI to pace Gordon (2-4). 

The Gators (0-7) continue their time in Florida tomorrow morning vs. Cazenovia. First pitch is scheduled for 10:15 am. 


Notes: A pair from RSC earned Empire 8 Conference weekly honors on Feb. 27…Senior outfielder James Lubanski (Port Washington, NY/Paul D.
