Sage lends a hand to Sand Creek's World Record Run

SAGE BASKETBALL LENDS A HAND TO SAND CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL'S WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT

Albany, NY---- The Sage Colleges men's and women's basketball teams participated in the Creekfest at Sand Creek Middle School on Friday. Students at the middle school were joined by several area college coaches and student-athletes include Sage's own head women's basketball coach, Jackie Luszczek and head men's basketball coach Brian Barnes. Two Sage student-athletes, freshman men's basketball player Jeff Stopera  (Scotia, NY/Scotia Glenville) and junior women's basketball player Liz Donk (Phelps, NY/Midlakes) were also on hand on Friday as the school kicked off their second annual Bullying Prevention Kickoff week.

In conjunction with the event, the students at the Sand Creek Middle School are making an attempt to break a world record for the most people dribbling at one time. The current mark is 3,000 people and the students are making a run for the mark with their efforts on Friday.
