ALBANY - With students returning to campus for the spring 2022 semester, Russell Sage College Athletics announced updates to its spectator policy. 

2021-22 Russell Sage College Spectator Policy

Russell Sage College Athletics encourages all fans to watch our athletic contests through the department's live streaming initiatives, including the Empire 8 Network. RSC will make every effort to provide live video at as many games as possible this season.

As of Thursday, January 20, 2022, Russell Sage College will require that all spectators be masked and fully vaccinated at our home indoor athletic contests. Fully vaccinated is currently defined as having both doses of Pfzier or Moderna, plus two weeks or one dose of Johnson and Johnson plus two weeks. We ask that all visitors to campus prepare in advance, including bringing masks and vaccination records. 

Commencing January 24, 2022, we will now require the use of disposable surgical masks, KN-95 or N-95 masks for classroom meetings and other large indoor gatherings including attendance at athletic events. 

Indoor Venues

1. Visitors over twelve years of age must provide documentation of full vaccination status and photo ID before admittance at indoor venues. Proof of vaccination can be provided through a CDC Vaccination Card or a government-issued electronic pass, such as the New York State Excelsior Pass.
2. Visitors are considered fully vaccinated once they receive their booster.
3. Failure to show proof of full vaccination will result in that individual being denied entry to the venue and required to leave campus.
4. All individuals must be fully masked at all times. Failure to be masked at all times will result in the individual being required to leave campus.
5. No food or drink will permitted in the gym.
