ALBANY - In advance of Wednesday's season-opening contests for Russell Sage College, the Department of Athletics announced its spectator policy surrounding our competitions at our home venues.

We encourage all fans to watch our athletic contests through the department's live streaming initiatives, including Empire 8 TV. Sage will make every effort to provide live video at as many games as possible this year.

Sage has four of its programs in action on Wednesday, September 1. Women's Soccer, the reigning Empire 8 Conference Tournament Champions, kicks things off by hosting SUNY Cortland at 4:00 pm.  Men's soccer and women's volleyball both are home at 7:00 pm.  Men's soccer will entertain Castleton University, while women's volleyball welcomes SUNY Delhi. Field hockey rounds out the season-opening day with a 7:30 pm meeting at SUNY Cortland.

 

 

2021-22 Russell Sage College Athletic Spectator Policy

As of: August 31, 2021

All visitors to Russell Sage College campuses are required to follow current mask guidelines, based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  As of Tuesday, August 31, 2021, Russell Sage College requires that all persons be masked indoors and that unvaccinated persons be masked outdoors as well.  We ask that all visitors to campus prepare in advance, including bringing masks and vaccination records. 

Indoor Venues

1. Visitors over twelve years of age must provide documentation of full vaccination status before admittance at indoor venues. Proof of vaccination can be provided through a CDC Vaccination Card or a government-issued electronic pass, such as the New York State Excelsior Pass.
2. All visitors are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose.
3. Failure to show proof of full vaccination will result in that individual being denied entry to the venue and required to leave campus.
4. All individuals must be fully masked at all times. Failure to be masked at all times will result in the individual being required to leave campus.

Outdoor Venues

Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to mask while outdoors, although we do encourage masking at all times.
