We are proud of our spring athletes. All year they have been preparing and working for an opportunity to compete with their teammates. Win or lose, we all want our athletic seasons - or careers - to end on the field in competition. It is truly unfortunate that this will not happen.
The cancelation of our spring season is especially difficult for our seniors. We deeply regret that their careers ended this way. Over the next several weeks we plan to honor all of our Gators spring senior student-athletes with individual profiles through our website and social media platforms. Perhaps, in time, there will be an appropriate way to gather and celebrate their accomplishments.
