Sage represented by Trish Cellemme at 2020 NCAA ADR Institute

Albany, NY–The Sage Colleges' Vice President of Student Life Trish Cellemme was selected to attend the 2020 NCAA Division III Athletics Director Report Institute. Cellemme travelled to California last week and was one of 43 participants that were involved in the fifth annual Athletics Direct Report (ADR) Institute, January 22-23 at the 2020 NCAA Convention in Anaheim, California.

Cellemme noted of the training, "The ADR Institute was an incredible experience for me as someone who cares about Sage's student-athletes." She continued, "The training I received was relevant, insightful and pragmatic.  I return to campus with new ideas and resources that will allow me to provide stronger leadership and support to Sage's Coaches, Administrators and Student-Athletes."

The purpose of the program is to engage Division III ADRs in best practices to oversee and manage athletics departments and to improve the relationships between ADRs and their presidents, athletics directors and conference commissioners. Program content will focus on enhancing the effectiveness of the ADR at the campus, conference and national levels. Program content will focus on enhancing effectiveness of the ADR at the campus, conference and national levels, and topics will include athletics budgeting and development; managing athletics personnel; student-athlete well-being; relationship and culture building; conference office engagement; NCAA governance and philosophy; NCAA committee service and more. The two-day program includes both networking opportunities and interactive discussions with ADR peers and other expert presenters.
