Sage places 10 student-athletes on 2015-2016 Fall-Winter Skyline All-Sportsmanship Team

New York, NY-- The Sage Colleges' placed 10 student-athletes on the 2015-2016 Skyline Conference Fall-Winter All-Sportsmanship Team.  All told, the Skyline Conference is proud to recognize its 112 student-athletes with a selection to 2015-2016 Fall-Winter All-Sportsmanship Team.

In addition to being part of the Skyline Conference mission statement, the NCAA Division III Philosophy Statement encourages "the development of sportsmanship and positive societal attitudes in all constituents, including student-athletes, coaches, administrative personnel and spectators." As such, for the third season in a row, Skyline Conference All-Sportsmanship Team honorees are eligible to receive the 2015-16 edition of the Male & Female Sporting Awards, which will be voted on by the conference's directors of athletics at the conclusion of the academic year.

In men's golf, senior DJ Ioele (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) was honored with a selection, while men's soccer player senior Sean Lanza (Poughkeepsie, NY/Spackenkill) was recognized.

Sage's senior women's soccer player Angelica DeCianni (Green Island, NY/Heatly) was recognized, while women's tennis player senior Melissa Estremera (Millbrook, NY/Millbrook) was chosen. Junior Rachel Liebig (Hartford, NY/Hartford) was named in women's volleyball, while in men's volleyball, Sage's rookie Austin Laverty (Schenectady, NY/Mohonansen) was selected.

In cross country, senior Juan Reyes-Alvarez (Latham, NY/Shaker) was selected, while senior Amanda Millington (Chestertown, NY/North Warren Central) was named to the women's cross country team. In basketball, senior Krystyn Knockwood (Troy, NY/Troy) was named to the women's team, while senior Jorrdan McCray (Orlando, FL/Wekiva) was selected to the men's team.
