New York, NY--- The Sage Colleges’ men’s volleyball team had a pair of players honored by the Skyline Conference on Monday evening with the announcement of the league’s weekly honors.

Sage’s duo of Dylan Krowicki (Little Falls, NY/Little Falls) and Scott Fitzgerald (Hudson Falls, NY/Queensbury) were recognized by the league with honors as Krowicki was named the league’s co-player of the week, and Fitzgerald was placed on the weekly honor roll.

Krowicki connected on back-to-back double-digit kills last week with 12 against NYU-Poly and 17 against SVC. He averaged 4.14 kills per set last week, while averaging 2.95 per set on the season with his 109 kills. A starter in every match, he has 77 digs this year.

Fitzgerald is coming off a very strong pair of matches last week. He had 27 kills with five aces, and 21 digs. Overall, he had a .839 serving percentage last week and now has a team-best 22 aces, while adding 89 kills, 62 digs and 25 total blocks. Against SVC, he had a double-double with 17 kills and 19 digs and a pair of aces.

The Gators return to action on February 23 travelling to College of Mt. St. Vincent for a Skyline Conference at 7 p.m. match, before competing on February 24 and 25 at the Bard College Raptor Invitational.
