An experienced coach at all levels having worked on the NCAA Division III level at Skidmore College, the NCAA Division II level at East Stroudsburg University and California State-Chico as well as an assistant coach at NCAA Division I Southern Utah University, Brown brings an extensive list of accomplishments and skills to the Gator softball program. Her primary responsibilities included coaching first base, while also working with the outfield and the squad’s hitters.

A graduate of Shaker High School, Brown is certainly a familiar face in the Capital Region.  A three-time Suburban Council All-Star at Shaker after starring as the left fielder, she excelled at Buffalo State, where she was a four-time letterwinner for the Bengals. Twice during her intercollegiate career, the Bengals garnered NCAA regional appearances after considerable success in the SUNYAC playoffs. She is a 1999 graduate of Buffalo State College, where she earned her bachelor of arts in journalism. She went on to earn her master of science degree in general education from the University at Albany in 2002.
